2022-2023 EMT to PARAMEDIC COURSE - Class is Full!!

Comments: REGISTRATION IS OPEN!! This is a diploma Paramedic program for currently licensed EMTs and AEMTs. You must be licensed at the EMT level to start this course. Advanced EMTs will need to complete the entire program.

Program Dates:

Class will be held every Monday from 8 am to 5 pm. *Class will also be held on an occasional pre-scheduled Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm. Dates to be announced.

Clinical will run concurrent with the course and you will be given 60 days after the last day of class to complete clinical experiences.

A college level Anatomy & Physiology course (no lab required) is required prior to beginning this course*. An official transcript is required to be submitted to the United Training Center to complete your application package. You must have a "C" or better to meet this requirement. We do accept some online A&P courses, please contact United Training Center for more information.

The Paramedic program at United Training Center is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (www.caahep.org) upon the recommendation of the Committee on Accreditation of Educational Programs for the Emergency Medical Services Professions (CoAEMSP). United Training Center does not allow advanced placement into this program.
Class Description: The educational format for this class will include both online and classroom learning. A laptop computer and internet access are required for this course.

This program is supported by the Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan. After registration, payment of Application Fee, acceptance into the program, and payment of the Course Deposit, the remaining training cost will be fully funded for each eligible student. To discuss additional supports to eliminate barriers to participation in this training, contact healthcaretrainingforme.dol@maine.gov.

A $200 non-refundable application processing fee is due at time of registration.

Once you register for the class, you will receive an application packet and immunization forms within 15 days. An interview and pre-test will be required before admission to the program. Once accepted into the program, your enrollment is not confirmed until we receive the $1000 student deposit. Payments can be made from the emailed invoice. Please note the invoice amount will include the entire cost of the course, The total student responsibility is $1200 which includes the $200 non-refundable application fee and the $1000 student deposit, after acceptance into the course.

United Training Center does not issue college credit for this program. College credit may be achieved through articulation agreements. Please contact us for more information.
