Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) - Hermon - Class is full!!

You MUST be licensed at the EMT level to start this course.

Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to sit for the National Registry Advanced EMT Exam.

This is a fast paced course, utilizing an online platform to enhance learning and classroom activities. Internet access or the ability to come to the Training Center Computer Lab is required as part of successful completion of this course.
Class Description: Class will meet on the following Saturdays, from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

August: 13, 20, 27
September: 3, 10, 17, 24
October: 1, 8, 15, 22, 29
November: 5, 12, 19, 26
December: 3, 10, 17

NREMT Psychomotor and Written Exam fees are not included in the cost of this course.

Clinical will run concurrent with the course and you will be given an additional 60 days after the last day of class to finish up any incomplete clinical experiences. A minimum of 150 clinical hours are required. Additional clinical time may be required to complete the clinical objectives.
General Comments: This program is supported by the Maine Jobs & Recovery Plan. After registration and payment of the Application Fee, the training cost will be fully funded for each eligible student. United's Education Division is a Maine-EMS approved Training Center.

United Training Center does not issue college credit for this program. College credit may be achieved through articulation agreements. Please contact us for more information.

Within a month of the start date of the course, you will receive information via email that will include immunization forms. You will receive an invoice for the course in a separate email. Your enrollment is not confirmed until we receive the $300 student deposit. Payments can be made from the emailed invoice. Please note the invoice amount will include the entire cost of the course, but only $300 is the student's responsibility.
