You will have the opportunity to hold a heart in your hands, feel and see the effects of common
diseases, and get an up close and personal look at the human body. The class will include 3 hours of lectures aiming to advance your knowledge of anatomy using cases ranging from the most common, to the most complex. The afternoon will include 3 hours of interactive learning in the UNE COM donor lab focusing on human anatomy and furthering your knowledge of advanced airway placement.
Class Description: 3 hours of lecture-style learning to enhance the knowledge of anatomy through clinical cases, and the afternoon will consist of 3 hours in the anatomy lab at 5 different stations: MSK, ABD, Neuro, CV/RESP, and Advanced Airway Skills. The instructors will provide an interactive, hands-on tour through each system, working with the students to answer questions and make it fit to their level of care. The class will be open to nurses, paramedics, etc (not advisable for EMT-B)

The class will be from 8:30 am - 3:30 pm
