This is a traditional style course, there will be minimal online components, the majority of the course will be face-to-face instruction.
Students can expect to spend a minimum of 12 to 14 hours each week doing the required reading and assignments.
Classes will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Some Saturdays from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm are also required.

February 4, 6, 11, 13, 15, 25, 27
March 3, 5, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 24, 26
April 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 18, 28, 30

NREMT Practical testing fees, if taken through United Training Center, are included in the price of this course. Written testing fees and Maine licensing fees are NOT included. |
| Class Description: |
This course prepares students for the entry level to work on an ambulance. The course covers Ambulance Operations, Airway Management, Patient Assessment, Medical Emergencies, Trauma Emergencies, Infants, Children, and Operations.
Clinical will run concurrent with the course and you will be given an additional 14 days after the last day of class to finish up any incomplete clinical experiences. A minimum of 28 clinical hours are required. Additional clinical time may be required to complete the clinical objectives.
Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to sit for the National Registry EMT licensure test. |

Note: The $95.00 non-refundable application fee is due at the time of sign-up.

One month prior to the start date of the course, you will receive an email with the Course Application, Immunization forms and an invoice for the course. Your enrollment is not confirmed until we receive your completed application and immunization forms, and the $250 non-refundable deposit.
