Class Description:United will be offering monthly continuing educations classes for all EMS providers. Neonatal resuscitation will review delivery of the newborn and initial resuscitation actions. 2 hours of OB/Pediatric CEH credits will be awarded.

Comments:24 hour BLS Refresher. This program will cover 24 hours of various CEH hours towards NREMT recertification.

This program will also cover the BLS Refresher requirement for those who need to retake their NREMT Computer Based Exam.

Please note: this program only covers 24 of the 52 hours required for an EMT to re-license in the state of Maine.

General Comments:Providers must attend all three days to receive a completion certificate.

Class Description:Overdoses are more frequently a reason 9-1-1 is called. Recognition and proper treatment can make a difference in these patients. The class will also cover different poisonings and response to these calls.

Class Description:Every community has the potential for water-related emergencies. They can take place in rivers, ponds, oceans, or even the backyard pool. The class will cover response and treatment of patients involved in a water-related emergency.
