|Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Hybrid Class - Belfast

||$1250 (includes textbook, online learning platforms, online testing platforms, CPR certification and PSE if taken at UTC)
||This is a fast paced course, utilizing an online platform to enhance learning and classroom activities. This course utilizes an online lecture platform, you can attend from the comfort of your own home, with in-person lab sessions to learn and practice the practical skills needed to be an EMT.
Students can expect to spend a minimum of 8-10 hours each week on the course doing the required reading and assignments.
Class will meet in-person Tuesday February 22 from 6pm-8pm
Class will meet via Zoom on the Following Tuesdays from 6pm-9:30pm:

April: 5, 12, 19, 26
Class will meet in-person the following Tuesdays from 6pm-9:30pm:

Class will meet in-person Thursday evenings from 6pm-9:30pm:
March: 3, 10, 17, 24, 31
April: 7, 14, 21, 28
May: 5, 12, 19
Class will meet in-person the following Saturdays from 9am-4:30pm:
March: 12, 26
April: 9, 23
May: 7, 21
NREMT Practical testing fees are included in price of this course. Written testing fees and Maine licensing fees are NOT included.
||This course prepares students for the entrance level to work on an ambulance. The course covers Ambulance Operations, Airway Management, Patient Assessment, Medical Emergencies, Trauma Emergencies, Infants, Children and Operations.
Due to current state regulations, EMT Clinical rotations are not allowed. Should this change before the end date of this course, clinical opportunities will be offered as a part of this course, with no additional fees.
Students who successfully complete this course are eligible to sit for the National Registry EMT licensure test.
United Training Center is a Maine-EMS approved Training Center.
United Training Center does not issue college credit for this program. College credit may be achieved through articulation agreements. Please contact us for more information.
Registration is not complete until the non-refundable $150.00 Course Application Fee is paid. Purchase orders are accepted, please contact the Education Department.
||Prior to the start date of the course, an email with course information will be sent to all registrants. Invoices will also be sent via email. Course enrollment is not confirmed until the $150 non-refundable Application Fee and $400 non-refundable Course Deposit are paid. After registering for this course, additional payments can be made through the emailed invoice.
Please Note: The $150 Application Fee and the $400 Course Deposit are included in the total cost of the course, these are not additional fees added to the $1250. The Application Fee and Course Deposit fees are non-refundable, should the student drop the course, after the course has started.
Refunds/Payments: Full refunds will only be issued in the event of course cancellation or prior to the “Official Start Date”. Payment in full must be made prior to start date of class.
